4 Steps to Replace Stolen or Lost Passbook

Call the Bank to Secure Your Account The first and most crucial step you need to do immediately is to contact your bank by phone or personally report it to the branch where you opened the account. This action will ensure that funds will stay put. The bank will lock the account immediately. The big banks have 24/7 hotlines. For BPI, it's 889-100. You have to do this step ASAP after discovering the loss. 2. SCAM ALERT: PRC ID Renewal Message via Facebook

Update!!!! The scammers behind this are still active until now . In fact, one of my associates received a similar message last week. Even though he is a discreet person, he was almost fooled by this message. He responded by sending a message to the phone number given in the FB message and got a response accordingly. He checked me out the next day to see if I received the same message and then he found out about this scam. So, be careful everyone. The goons are alive and active. Do not be the next victim!
