List of Visa-Free Countries for Filipinos

Image
Where can your Philippine passport take you to? I initially thought, not much. But I'm wrong. As I researched what countries do not require visa for Filipinos, I was astonished to realize that we can pretty much travel to a significant portion of the world without a visa (see map below). Of course, aside from visa there are other roadblocks to travel and one of the biggest is money. But anyway, money aside, here are the countries where Filipinos like myself can roam for free for at least seven days.

Load Prepaid Phone Online Using Lazada Mobile Charge

Image
I'm not sure but this may have been in existence way earlier than this year. But yes, I just discovered it today and it's awesome. But first, let me say that probably, this article will be most useful for those in the prepaid "realm" of mobile users in the country , I mean, here in the Philippines. Post paid "richies" can read on of course.

Today, after being under the rock for centuries, I discovered that I can load my cellular phone online through the incredible Lazada Mobile Charge. I say it's incredible because it solved my problem today. It may solve your problem as well today or in the future so I encourage you to read on and learn.

I'm one of those oldies who loads his or her prepaid phone by going to a retailer, typing my number on an old phone with physical keypad, giving the phone back to the seller and answering the question of how much to load and then paying with extra charge. After a few seconds, my load arrives, immediately registers …

Jetstar Airways- A Great Option for Flying Internationally and Low-cost

Image
It is quite likely that most of us here in the Philippines flies only in the these three airlines - Cebu Pacific, AirAsia and Philippine Airlines. That is very true locally since these three were almost the only options. But that's also true when flying internationally. I said these because I asked a few people and they are not aware that another airline is there as an option for flying internationally at a relatively lower cost.

I'm talking about Jetstar Airways. I don't know much about this airline until my college friend called me a few years ago asking for help to book her ticket to Singapore. And then she mentioned Jetstar as having a cheaper option. When when I checked, she's right. It's really cheap! Well, of course, the word "cheap" is relative but I mean flying off to another country for less than 3000 Pesos? Well, that's cheap!

3 Facts About Jetstar Airways 1. It's a subsidiary of the Australian airline giant Qantas Airways. 2. It's …

This Citibank-Cebu Pacific Promo is Absolutely Amazing!

Image
I just booked a ticket to Davao for next year with this latest Cebu Pacific promo exclusive to Citibank Philippines credit card holders. The advertisement in my email says
Don't miss the chance to book low fares to local destinations from P599 and Hong Kong or Singapore from P1,599 with your Citi credit card. After receiving the email, I didn't waste time and booked a ticket for me as I have plans of going to Davao next year. And I have the round trip fare (without baggage) for less than 1000 pesos. Yes, you're right, less than a grand!
Citibank credit card holders just need to go cebu pacific website, search for a flight, and then on the next webpage, enter the promo code CITISALE in the box at the right side. I tried to do the same with Cebu Pacific mobile app for iOS but I cannot find it. I'm not sure about the Android version but I guess it would be the same. So for those who wanted to avail of this promo, just use a web browser, be it on your phone, tablet or your…
