Malcanang Palace officially declares July 29, 2014 (Tuesday) as a regular non-working holiday all over the Philippines in celebration of the annual Muslim festival Eid’l Fitr or the Feast of Ramadan. The official declaration can be read at official government portal www.gov.ph . Those who will be required to work at that date shall receive additional compensation based on the existing Labor rules set by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
