Dear valued readers, I started blogging in summer of 2009. Back then, this blog was more of a personal blog about all the ideas that I have in mind. I wrote about my interests such as movies music, books, food money and travel. The name of this blog back then was Ideas Digest and I have a subdomain using Google’s Blogspot. Late that year, this blog started to focus on travel and flight information. Then I ventured into government news. I found it very noble to help disseminate information on such things as holiday announcement, class suspensions and the like.

Cross posted from Technology Logs . Yes, Google's Blogger.com is now up and running! This is actually my first post after the almost-three-day downtime of the popular blogging service. The outage came after Blogger's scheduled maintenance last Thursday (PHT). The maintenance was supposed to to last for only one-hour but after it, Blogger came back to read-only-mode wherle users can't upload new contents to their blogs. They also removed all articles and comments posted during the short uptime after the maintenance. Although Blogger said that they already started restoring those articles, my posted articles are yet to be restored until the time of writing.

One of the key reasons why I bought this device is for me to be able to post on my blogs anywhere I am as long as there's WiFi connection (i just bought a WiFi model due to cost). So, when I tried to use it to post an article, I was extremely disppointed to find out that Blogger's "Compose Mode" is not working on an iPad. I later found out that the reason was that iOS , the system that runs Apple touchscreen mobile devices ( iPhones , iPod Touches , and iPads ) is not supporting Adobe Flash and Blogger's "Compose Mode" require's Flash to run. I really appreciate when someone put comments on my blog. It’s a sign that I caught some interest from my visitors. It is also a way where my readers can freely suggest anything he wants with regards to the blog post. But I made a decision to moderate the comments. For the sake of those who are not familiar with blogging, comment moderation is an option where you can decide whether allow comments to appear immediately on your blog or wait for your approval.
