How to Update PhilHealth Membership?

 If you, just like me, had a change in employment status, for example from being in the formal economy (i.e. employed) to being in the informal economy or a self earning individual, you can still continue paying for your PhilHealth and reap the benefits of being covered with our national health insurance system. But before you can do so, you have to update your MDR or Member Data Record. Here are the simple steps: Fill out the PMRF or the PhilHealth Member Registration Form. Link HERE for the updated form . NOTE: Check the "For Updating/Amendment" box Bring an original and photocopy of a valid ID (SSS, UMID, Driver's License, PRC, Passport, etc) Come to the nearest PhilHealth Office. Come Early. Cebu Pacific's Statement on the Spoiled Kidney Incident

After the outrage over the incident that happened last August 28, 2010 when a donated kidney was spoiled after being refused for boarding on its aircraft, Cebu Pacific manangement issued an official statement. In summary, the airline defended the pilot's discretion pointing out that the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) did not follow prescribed international procedure regarding transporting human organs. The airline also assured the public that they already have discussions with NKTI to prevent similar incidents in the future. General Motors' Diet-True or Hoax?

Have you heard about the so called General Motors’ diet ? It has been circulating in the internet for quite a long time now and stimulated variety of reactions. Some say that it’s true and effective and some say that it was just a hoax. We’ll if haven’t heard of it, let me explain a little summary of it. The General Motors’ diet is a seven day diet program that claims to reduce a person’s weight by at least 10 lbs. Each day within that seven-day period you will be eating different kinds of food from fruits to vegetables and grains. The sequence is very important as explained in the document.
