The fourth quarter of the year has always been very busy. There are many deadlines to meet, and many things to close out. But in spite of that, it is also a time for vacation as the government provides many holidays during that time. Personally, what I want to do during the holidays is to travel. I'm okay with simply driving to the next town as long as it will change my surroundings, giving me a break from the monotonous city life.  So yes, fourth quarter is indeed a great quarter of the year. Budget carrier Cebu Pacific announces a new piso fare promo offering discounted fares for early 2015 flights on all destinations. The promo starts today and will be available for booking until July 6. The travel period for this promo is January 1 to March 31, 2015.  Tickets can be purchased online at www.cebupacificair.com or via their ticketing office*. *All international, all Manila, Cebu to Boracay, Coron, Davao and Puerto Princesa flights are only available online.

Good news for travelers next year. AirAsia Zest announced a new Piso Fare promo for January 5 to July 15, 2015 travel dates. Promo starts today and will end June 8. Here's the promo poster. Last year, I remember booking a round trip ' piso fare '   ticket for my two friends coming from Manila to Cebu. The price was totally awesome, 195 pesos only for (no-baggage). And just recently, Cebu Pacific announces another edition of piso fare promo . This time however, I was a little surprised to find out that the total fare for a two-person (Cebu to Davao) , no baggage, piso fare ticket was amounting to 1228 Pesos. This was a stunning 530% increase! What happened? Well I did a simple investigation. I compared the price breakdown of my previous bookings and compared it to the one I recently done.
