Jetstar Airways- A Great Option for Flying Internationally and Low-cost

It is quite likely that most of us here in the Philippines flies only in the these three airlines - Cebu Pacific, AirAsia and Philippine Airlines. That is very true locally since these three were almost the only options. But that's also true when flying internationally. I said these because I asked a few people and they are not aware that another airline is there as an option for flying internationally at a relatively lower cost. Photo by AirKoryoTU-204 (S.Stavridis) YMML photos - Own work , CC BY-SA 3.0 , Link I'm talking about Jetstar Airways. I don't know much about this airline until my college friend called me a few years ago asking for help to book her ticket to Singapore. And then she mentioned Jetstar as having a cheaper option. When when I checked, she's right. It's really cheap! Well, of course, the word "cheap" is relative but I mean flying off to another country for less than 3000 Pesos? Well, that's cheap! 3 Facts About Jetstar A...

Wrong Name in Booking Airline Ticket? Here's What to Do.

It's a rare occasion that one makes a mistake in his or her own name. But the possibility of making a mistake when you are booking for someone is relatively higher. If you accidentally made a mistake in the name of the person, here's what you can probably do to correct the matter. Contact the airline immediately. Whether through phone, live chat, email, make your concern known to the customer service department of a particular airline. When I made a mistake in the salutation address of my friends (i.e. Mr, Mrs, Miss etc.), I quickly contacted AirAsia via live chat. They quickly made the change and sent an updated itinerary.

Contrary to what many people think, there are other ways to book a promo ticket online even though one has no credit card. Cebu Pacific, AirAsia Zest and Philippine Airlines have provided many alternative ways to allow more people to access their promo offers. Lesser Options in Flying Domestically Due to Airline Mergers

When San Miguel Corporation took over the helm of managing PAL and PAL Express (then Airphil Express), they decided to merge the operation of the two airline companies. Though the two airlines have been long-time sister companies, they have operated almost independently until Lucio Tan sold his majority stake to San Miguel . PAL Express was named Airphil Express before San Miguel acquired PAL The result of the consolidation is immediately evident. First, Airphil Express changed its name to PAL Express. Second, PAL Express stopped all flights that are common with PAL (e.g. Manila-Cebu). Then just recently, PAL Express suspended 35 Express inter-island flights leaving inter-island travelers with no other choice but Cebu Pacific.

On Refunding TigerAir Promo Ticket

YES. You can refund promo tickets as long as it's the airline's fault. Here's my story. I planned to go to Puerto Princesa , Palawan for a short vacation with my family, but due to budget risks and unpredictable weather, I decided to cancel our travel. The good thing though is that Tigerair recently changed my flight time. And since the delay/advance is more than three hours (which I think is the rule), I can refund my tickets. So here's what I did. 261 (Photo credit: Wikipedia )
