Philippine Long Distance Telephone (PLDT) chairman Manuel V Pangilinan commonly referred to as MVP is now on twitter. His account which officially goes online today is @iamMVP . Tweeted by Smart Communications, MVP is now inviting everyone to follow his tweets. PLDT is the largest communication company in the country and is a leading provider of wired and wireless communication services such as telephone, internet, satellite TVs and many more.

This was actually a law proposed by Quezon City Representative Winston Castelo which aims to penalize the act. Planking is is an activity consisting of lying face down in an unusual or incongruous location ( Wikipedia ). This has been one of the fads of protesting and has gained public attention during the transport stike last Monday. Of course netizens reacted quickly in their ire to the propoed law which many think is overly reactive. What is your opinion regarding the infamous "Anti-Planking Act of 2011"?

DepEd Joins PAGASA in Twitter!

Recently, several government agencies has been using social media channels to facilitate fast distribution of information.
