Angels and Demons: Book Versus Movie

MOVIE: In the movie, the chief of Swiss Guards was Commander Richter, Olivetti was a Vatican police.
BOOK: Olivetti was the chief of the Vatican Swiss Guard. Richter was not on the novel.

MOVIE: Cardinal Baggia survived and became the Pope.
BOOK: All four cardinals (the Preferitti) died in the four churches that represents the altars of science, Earth, Air, Fire and Water.

MOVIE: The Assassin died because of the bomb planted on his car.
BOOK: Robert and Vittoria fought the Assasin and he died after falling from Castel Sant' Angelo.

The movie also eliminated the fight on Piazza Navona and on the Castel Sant' Angelo.

MOVIE: Vittoria stayed on the Vatican after one of the Cardinals was found on the Saint Peter's Square.
BOOK: Langdon fell in love with Vittoria and felt the rage when the Assassin caught her.

The movie eliminated the romantic flavor on the book.

MOVIE : Richter was the one who was falsely accused as Illuminatus.
BOOK : It was Maximilian Kholer, CERN director, who tried to kill the

BOOK:
The antimatter just exploded above and the people only saw light from heaven.

MOVIE: The antimatter exploded high above the sky and brought about a blast on the St. Peter's Square.

I have to commend the movie for this. The book was a bit unrealistic considering the fact that the supposed antimatter would be enough to wipe the entire Vatican.

MOVIE: Langdon was on the ground when the antimatter exploded.
BOOK: Langdon ride the helicopter with Camerlengo and jumped just a few moments before the detonation. He fell on the Tiber river and was taken to the hospital.

I also commend the movie for removing this unrealistic scene.

The list above were just the major differences I remembered/noticed. There are other differences like names, roles, who say this and that. Please comment if you want to say something about this article or if you want to add another difference that you saw.

My passbook (inside my bag) was recently stolen inside a local grocery store, and I would like to share the steps I took to secure my account and get a new passbook.      By User:Aerous ", CC BY-SA 3.0 , Link The steps outlined here are for a BPI savings account, but generally, the procedure will be very similar to other banks in the Philippines. 1. Call the Bank to Secure Your Account The first and most crucial step you need to do immediately is to contact your bank by phone or personally report it to the branch where you opened the account. This action will ensure that funds will stay put. The bank will lock the account immediately. The big banks have 24/7 hotlines. For BPI, it's 889-100. Get an Affidav

How Much Does a MRI Scan Costs in the Philippines?

My dad needs a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan for his prostate problem. I did a little research on how much does it cost to have one. Well, it depends on many factors, such as which body part is to be scanned. There's also this technique called "MRI with contrast," wherein the patient will be injected with a chemical to make the scan clearer. For your information, this technique of adding contrast is known as  Gadolinium Contrast Medium . It adds cost to the procedure, but with more clarity, the more you can trust the diagnosis. We got it in  i-Scan Healthcare Inc.  here in Quezon City. The cost is  13000 Pesos . Please take note that the amount was just for the scan, and a separate professional will read the result. Some laboratories offer this service (i.e
