Before releasing the result of July 2010 Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists, the Professional Regulation Commission calrified the recent issue of the alleged sanction/blacklisting of Filipino Physical Therapists in the United States. In a signed document posted on PRC's official website, PRC Charirman NICOLAS P. LAPEĆA JR clarified that "contrary to public perception, the suspension of the exam is not a ban nor a blacklist or a sanction as reported. Rather, it is a necessary action by the Federation of State Boards for Physical Therapy (FSBPT) to ensure that the next set of examination does not include compromised questions and this preparation can take at least a year to implement".
The said document also mentioned the result of the investigation as to the cause of the said suspension. To read the full document follow the link to the PRC news page.
