SM Premier Seaside in Cebu City opened late last year. This humongous mall has a skating rink, the second skating rink in the Philippines that is open to the public. But before you go and hit the ice, please take note of the following.

1. You Need Socks
Yes, SM will not allow you to wear the ice skates without a sock. If you go there without it, your only option is to buy one. Otherwise, you're out.2. No Protective Gear Available
Skate at your own risk. There are no available helmets, knee pads, gloves etc. You can bring those items if you want. If you're new to skating, I would advise that you to bring your own protective gear.3. It's Hot Inside the Ring
Ironic, but yes, it's not cold inside the rink. So if you plan to skate, do not bring jackets. I brought mine and I had to remove it after a few minutes of skating.4. The Ice is Very Slippery
Related to #3, the ice is not so cold. It's a little more slippery and more difficult compared to skating in other countries with winter.5. There are Many People
Maybe it will get fewer as time goes by but currently, it's always full. So, you may have to line up and wait for your turn. Best day to skate is Monday night if it's not holiday._________________________
