Yes, J.CO Donuts Is Coming to Cebu

Asian donuts brand J.CO is finally coming to Cebu. It's been months since people passing-by a corner in the lower ground of SM City Cebu started seeing ads on its arrival.

J.CO, just like its rival brand Krispy Kreme has been very successful in Metro Manila. The last time I'm in Manila, I lined up for about an hour, almost missing my flight, just to buy a few dozens.


I can still remember a few years back. I'm used to seeing the green-red Krispy Kreme boxes being carried by Cebu-bound passengers in the plane. It's probably the number 1 'pasalubong' once upon a time. Then, less than two years ago, when Krispy Kreme opened their stores in Cebu and at the same time J.CO opened in Manila, the boxes turned yellow, with J.CO taking the crown from KK. Soon though, all these donuts boxes will be a thing of the past when J.CO finally serves their donuts in the land of the Cebuanos. Exciting!
