Tomorrow, May 1, the whole country will again celebrate the annual Labor Day. And since it is one of the major holidays of the year, here are some big news and events associated with it.
Piso Fare for Labor Day
Continuing the tradition of announcing promo fares in almost all major holidays in the country, Cebu Pacific announces today a Piso fare promo. One peso base fare plus surcharges gives you a discounted ticket for both international and local destinations. Travel period is from June to December 15, 2014. Promo ends May 2.Labor Day Non-working Holiday
This Thursday, May 1 is Labor Day Holiday. There would be no classes and work. If an employee is required to render service on that day, he or she is entitled to additional compensation as dictated by local labor laws.Job fair on Labor Day
The Philippine government through the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) will be conducting a nationwide job fair during the Labor Day on May 1, 2014. The job fair will be held in 65 different locations in the country. Over 115, 000 job vacancies in more than 2000 employers are available in the event.
For applicants, please prepare the necessary documents for a smooth job application process.
