Did you participate in PayPal’s last promo in Asia, the PayPal Wish list on Facebook? We’ll if you did, you should’ve already got an email from them regarding your cash rewards. I received a notification yesterday that the cash will be transferred to my account soon. And this morning, I received again another notification saying that the money is already in my account. I immediately checked my PayPal account, and viola! Seven dollars are added to my PayPal fund! Instant cash just by referring the promo to your Facebook friends!

PayPal Wish list is a promo from PayPal that officially started December 16, 2009 and ended by December 31, 2009. This promo is only available on selected countries in Asia (India, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia or Singapore).

PayPal Wish List is a Facebook application wherein you will choose five products you wish to have last holiday! After choosing your wishes, you should share it to your friends by inviting them to make their own wish list. Upon registration, you will immediately be given 1 dollar and for every Facebook friend that will join the promo, you will get additional 1 dollar. You can invite as many friend as you can, but the total earnings is only up to 100 dollars. In my case, I only got 7, meaning I have 6 friends who also joined.

PayPal Wish List Part 2

I will admit that at first, I was a little skeptical about this promo. I wasn’t so convinced that PayPal will give money in such an easy way. That’s the reason why I only got 7 dollars. After inviting my friends three of four times, I already stopped. I should’ve given it more effort to reach up to 100 dollars. My friend whom I only invited even got 8 dollars. If only there’s a second part of the PayPal Wish List promo.
Sign up for PayPal and start accepting credit card payments instantly.
For those who are still skeptical until now, here’s the proof of my cash rewards:

Resigning? SSS Will Deduct Your Loan Balance from Your Last Pay

The purpose of this article is to inform the public about this policy of the Social Security System (SSS), the government-owned insurance company for those employed in the private sector. I just learned about this a few months ago when my company announced a workforce reduction program. Among the sad discussions is about this policy of SSS regarding loans in cases of resignation or retrenchment. Section G-2 of the SSS Loan Terms and Conditions (at the back of the loan application form) explicitly says the following: "The employer shall deduct the total balance of the loan from any benefit/s due to the employee and shall remit the same in full to SSS, in case the member-borrower is separated voluntarily (e.g., retirement or resignation) or involuntarily (e.g., termination of employment or cessation of operations of the company)." In other words, y ou will be required to pay the rest of your loan (including the interest) when you change employer or employment statu

How Much Does a MRI Scan Costs in the Philippines?

My dad needs a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan for his prostate problem. I did a little research on how much does it cost to have one. Well, it depends on many factors, such as which body part is to be scanned. There's also this technique called "MRI with contrast," wherein the patient will be injected with a chemical to make the scan clearer. For your information, this technique of adding contrast is known as  Gadolinium Contrast Medium . It adds cost to the procedure, but with more clarity, the more you can trust the diagnosis. We got it in  i-Scan Healthcare Inc.  here in Quezon City. The cost is  13000 Pesos . Please take note that the amount was just for the scan, and a separate professional will read the result. Some laboratories offer this service (i.e
